Are you looking to teach in Thailand? Want some further training before jumping into a classroom? Join our 120 hour TEFL training course, held on the island Koh Phangan, before starting your guaranteed teaching placement in Thailand.

120 hour TEFL course - starts October 1st, 2017 (also runs in April and October 2018)
The course is held on the island Koh Phangan, where you’ll complete the training over three weeks (Monday to Friday), with your weekends to relax and explore the island. The course covers the core TEFL principles and techniques, taught by an experienced TEFL trainer. Areas covered during the course include:
Classroom management
Lesson planning
Introducing vocabulary and language
Games and activities
Giving instructions
Teaching methodologies
Grammar
Thai culture
Thai lessons
During the course, you’ll have an hour of Thai lessons each day, further preparing you for your placement. This is a great chance to be a student and see the lessons from a student’s perspective, as well as learn useful language and phrases you can use while living here.

The course is interactive and engaging - don’t expect to be sitting down and listening to lectures throughout the three weeks. You’ll be up and participating from the first day, whether you’re leading a game or activity, practicing how to give clear instructions or teaching your peers, there are always opportunities to be putting everything you’re learning into practice.

Guaranteed paid teaching position
After the completion of the course you’ll have a week and a half before you start your new teaching position. Once you are booked onto the program, we take a preference as to where you would like to teach and the age group of the students you would like to teach. We’ll start to arrange your placement and inform you prior to your arrival, and start to organise your visa.
The placement offers a salary of 30,000 THB / month and we cover the cost of your work permit.

You’ll receive full support throughout your time, including assistance with finding suitable accommodation and settling in.

Requirements:

- BA degree holder (any subject)
- Enthusiastic!
- Available for an October 1st start date, or for April or October 2018.
