LOOKING FOR QUALIFIED NATIVE ENGLISH SPEAKERS TO START WORK MID-SEPTEMBER 2017 (9 MONTH CONTRACT)

ABOUT US:

Language Training Center (LTC) was established in Astana, Kazakhstan in 2012 as an international language school, the mission of which is to organize high quality English courses provided by native speakers for all levels of students.

LTC mainly offers customer oriented general English courses for all ages and levels. As well as this we also provide English courses for national companies, IELTS courses for students that are planning to study abroad, and summer camp programmes.

This year we are launching Kazakhstan International Linguistic College (KILC), a new project to provide full time education for schoolchildren starting from the 9th grade in English.

In addition, LTC has strong relationships with Herriot Watt University, Rochester Institute of Technology and Study World Company, in order to provide preparation courses for those students who would like to get ready for partner university programmes.

PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF THE POSITION:

We are looking for English teachers for positions based in Astana, Kazakhstan. You will join our team of twenty teachers in one of our four branches and will be responsible for providing English language courses based on the curriculum of LTC and KILC for all of our students; mainly mid and high school students.

You will be responsible for other requirements related with day to day work such as but not limited to: grading homework, setting tests, filling in students’ marks and achievements to the register. In addition, you may be asked to participate in the promotions and presentations done by LTC and KILC.

ABOUT YOU:

Female/Male native English speaker
Aged from 23-33

Well-organised, professional, and caring teacher

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATION:

A Bachelor’s Degree (in English or teaching preferred)
A TESOL/TEFL teaching certificate (CELTA preferred)
A minimum of 1 year post qualification teaching experience

TEACHING CONDITIONS:

44 working hours a week 
34 teaching hours / 10 office hours (preparation, test marking, etc.) a week
At least 2 days off a week

Maximum of 10 students per class

PACKAGE DETAILS:

Monthly salary from $1200 to $1700 USD (depending on experience)

Paid medical insurance

Paid ticket to Astana (airport pick-up) 
Paid single accommodation within walking distance to the school
