Guangzhou
Guangzhou (Canton), a prosperous metropolis full of vigor, is the capital city of Guangdong Province located along the south coastline of China. Being an excellent port on the Pearl River navigable to the South China Sea, and with fast accessibility to Hong Kong and Macau, Guangzhou serves as the political, economic, scientific, educational and cultural center in Guangdong area.

Guangzhou is considered as the paradise for food lovers in south China. Guangzhou dish represents well the Guangdong (Cantonese) Cuisine, which is one among the most famous eight cuisines in China. A large amount of time honored restaurants and quality new restaurants serve various authentic Guangzhou dishes, snacks, and drinks.

Fuzhou
Most people have not heard of Fuzhou, but why would you? After all it is only a city of some 6 million people! Fuzhou is a small Chinese city, and capital of Fujian province. It is coastal, surrounding by mountains and in 2014 was ranked 7th in china for air quality.

5 hours from Shanghai by bullet train (or a 90 minute flight), around the same distance to Hong Kong. We are also a short flight from Taipei and have direct connections to many other major Chinese and Asian cities including Beijing, Seoul, Tokyo, Bangkok and Kuala Lumpur.

Main Responsibilities
o Maximum of 20 teaching hours per week
o Maximum of 20 admin hours per week
o Maximum of 8 students per class
o Teacher is responsible for developing lesson plans and adapting to students English abilities


Compensation
o Excellent salary: 12,000 to 16,000 RMB (depending on qualifications and number of classes taught)
o Arrival 5 day hotel allowance on provision of receipt
o Free accommodation provided by the school or 2,000 RMB monthly housing allowance
o Airfare reimbursement of arrival and departure respectively up to 5,000 RMB
o Contract completion bonus: 10,000 RMB
o 12 days national holidays plus 5 paid personal holidays
o Annual salary increase
o Legal Z work visa provided
o Health insurance provided
o On going training and program supervision


Requirements
o Bachelors degree
o TEFL certificate with 60 hours or above required(No TEFL? We recommend INTESOL, est. 1993, 50% discounts: www.GoldStarTeachers.com/INTESOL)
o Native English speaker from UK, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand or Ireland
o 2 years teaching experience preferred
o Professional, positive and culturally aware
o Adventurous, good sense of humour and a positive working attitude
