ESL Teacher to Children (Teach Phonics, PBL/IBL) in Shenzhen/Ningbo/Hangzhou

Athena Academy are looking for exceptional, enthusiastic and creative educators to engage with innovative teaching approaches, and contribute to the development and delivery of outstanding and engaging language and design courses.

Position: English Teacher
Location: Shenzhen*1/ Hangzhou*1 /Ningbo*1
Start Date: July/Aug 2017
Student age: 5-14
Class Size: 4-12

Main Responsibilities:
1. Deliver high quality Phonics, literature and writing classes to students.
2. Discern the structure of the day's lesson plan
3. Undertake regular library coaching duties.
4. Issue and explain homework assignments, write student assessment reports
5. Assist in marketing activities and promotions

Working Time & Annual Leave:
Work 5 days/week, 8hours/day including lunch break
2 weekdays off/week (Weekends off during summer/winter camp)
10 days paid annual leave + 12 paid sick leave + 12 statutory holidays/year

Package & Benefits:
1. Monthly salary (16,000-20,000) according to qualifications.

Minimum Requirements:
1. Native English speakers only
2. Bachelor's degree or above
3. Teaching certificate preferred (120 hours TEFL/TESOL/CELTA)
4. 2 years English teaching experience preferred6
