The Job
Our school is currently looking for part time English teachers who have the passion to teach Japanese young learners aged 6 to 12 years old at both our modern primary school and training center in Shanghai or Guangzhou.

We were one of the first established English educational institutions in China. We now have over twenty schools all over the nation. Our aim is to provide high qualified courses specializing in oral speaking, and our teachers are all from native countries like America, Canada and England.

We are dedicated to provide a lively and interesting English interactive classroom for our students. We put great emphasis on quality education and we achieve that through our professional teachers training, on going management support to all the teachers

Our teachers will mainly be teaching in our excellent primary school that we cooperate with, and also assist our training center occasionally.

Shanghai
Known as the Pearl of the Orient, Shanghai is truly an international metropolis in every sense of the word. The most vibrant and progressive city in China, Shanghai is the economic and cultural center, blending an incredible mix of Eastern and Western culture. On one side of the mighty Yangtze River flowing through Shanghai is the Pu Dong district, rural farm land just 20 years ago, it is now the financial and commercial hub with skyscrapers stretching ever higher. Along the western bank of the river, the iconic Bund is a reminder of Shanghais colonial past featuring grand European architecture.

Guangzhou
Guangzhou is considered as the paradise for food lovers in south China. Guangzhou dish represents well the Guangdong (Cantonese) Cuisine, which is one among the most famous eight cuisines in China. A large amount of time honored restaurants and quality new restaurants serve various authentic Guangzhou dishes, snacks, and drinks.

Main Responsibilities
o Average of 10 to 15 classes per week
o Monday to Friday work schedule with Tuesdays and weekends off
o Student ages: 6 to 12
o Plan lessons and classroom activities
o Attend staff meeting and teacher training
o Teach students fluency in verbal, listening, reading and written English
o Introduce students to western cultures and festivals


Compensation
o Excellent hourly pay: 200RMB/hour
o Health insurance provided
o Legal Z work visa provided
o Professional pre-job training with on-going program supervision

Requirements
o Bachelors degree
o TEFL certificate preferred(No TEFL? We recommend INTESOL, est. 1993, 50% discounts: www.GoldStarTeachers.com/INTESOL)
o Native English speaker from UK, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand or South Africa
o 2 years teaching experience preferred
o Clean criminal record check
o Fluency in oral and written English
o Professional, positive and culturally aware
