NES Homeroom, English Teachers

Pan-Asia International School (an IB World School), Bangkok is seeking for full time primary homeroom teacher and secondary English teacher for the academic year 2017-18 with teacher-orientation and preparation sessions starting from July-August, 2017.

For all positions above, PAIS requires at least Bachelor's Degree in the field and minimum 2 years of teaching experience in international schools. Degree in education and MYP/DP teaching experience will be an added plus. 

PRIMARY TEACHER POSITION:

PAIS Primary section is seeking qualified, experienced primary teachers, particularly for the 7-8 age group for a July 2017 start. Particularly valued attributes are those who are positive-minded, creative and have a strong understanding of modern student-centered teaching practices. We are particularly seeking those who are enthusiastic to develop themselves professionally and support the school’s development as a team player.

We follow the American Common Core State Standards (CCSS) primary curriculum, supplemented with engaging teaching practices, such as inquiry-based learning in order to develop inquisitive, globally-minded lifelong learners. Therefore we particularly value teachers who are skilled in: adapting materials; asking questions to promote and guide student-led inquiry; setting up play scenarios; developing higher order thinking and promoting the growth of the whole child

Recruitment procedures require all applicants called for an interview to present their original documents and be ready for a teaching demonstration, if required.
Salaries are competitive and based on experience.
