Grade 10-12 English and Health Teacher

Si Thammarat Suksa School English Program is currently looking for a grade 10 – 12 English and Health teacher to start immediately.

The position will involve teaching around 18-20 hours a week.

The ideal candidate for the Secondary Program should be dedicated to improving students of all levels as well as the existing program, be adaptable and also be pro-active with curriculum changes. They should also have experience or possess TEFL training as well as a suitable background for the subjects they will teach.   Teachers are expected to create weekly lesson plans which are fun and engaging for our students. “Mathayom” or secondary classes are capped at 30 students per class, with several grade levels having more than one class. The periods are in 50 minute blocks with breaks throughout the day.

The classrooms are fully equipped with air-conditioning, projectors and speakers.

Requirements:

• Possess passport from: USA, Canada, UK, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand
• Bachelors' degree
• Adaptability and fun-loving attitude!
• Preferred but not required:
• Teaching degree
• TEFL/TESOL
• Teaching/ other related experience

• Starting salary 30,000-35,000 Thai baht per month (based on qualifications and experience) with yearly raises.
