Description:

The Academy of New York (www.academyofnewyork.com) is a professional English language academy in Warsaw that is the first and only language center in Poland to promote the study of American English. Our offices are located in the heart of Warsaw’s City Center, situated on the 7th floor of a modern high-rise complex, in offices hosting a breathtaking panoramic view of the city.

We offer General and Business English courses, as well as English for Specific Purposes, iBT TOEFL, and IELTS preparation. Additionally, we offer one-on-one tailor made courses that are designed to fulfill the individual needs of our professional clientele.

Offering the highest standard of services, we provide our teachers with:

• in-class Internet access 
• wide screen televisions, complete with audio and DVD players in every classroom 
• over 1,000 textbook and digital teaching resources 
• classrooms furnished with modern and comfortable seating

Due to increasing enrollment, we are interested in inviting additional American native-speaking teachers to join our team.

Requirements:

• A BA diploma; MA in English or TESOL preferred 
• A minimum of 3 years’ teaching experience 
• A recognized certificate in TEFL /CELTA or equivalent 
• Native English speaking upbringing only 
• Background work with high end professional clientele 
• Extroverted and highly positive personalities need only apply

Entrance level salary:

4000 zl a month for 20 contact hours per week
