Qualified EFL teachers required - Portugal

Qualified EFL teachers required - Portugal: 1st October 2017 – 30th June 2018

The English Institute Setúbal is looking for responsible, professional and enthusiastic EFL teachers to join us for the next academic year, 1st October 2017 to 30th June 2018. The successful candidates will be responsible for teaching children, teenagers and adults. This is an exciting opportunity for those who wish to develop their career in a supportive, friendly and encouraging environment.

Minimum requirements:

✓    University degree

✓    CELTA (minimum grade B)

✓    A minimum of one years teaching experience

✓    Experience working with children and teenagers

✓    A professional and responsible attitude

✓    Creative and imaginative approach to teaching

What we offer:

Founded in 1984 the Institute offers a warm, friendly and supportive working environment. If you care about your students and you want to be treated with respect and consideration by your employers, this could be the job for you.

The successful candidate will earn €1500 per month for 24 teaching hours a week. We provide free, shared accommodation within walking distance of the school and flights from, and to, the UK at the beginning and end of the contract will be paid for. All local and national holidays are paid including Christmas and Easter. 

We look for teachers who are lively, capable of working with children, teenagers and adults and able to motivate and encourage their students.

Where we are located:

Setúbal is a coastal town, set at the edge of the Arrábida Natural Park, and only 40km south of Lisbon. Situated on the River Sado Estuary, which is home to a resident community of dolphins, there are many beautiful nearby beaches, from those located in the Natural Park to the Troia Peninsula. Setúbal also offers a variety of cultural events, which include various festivals throughout the year, sports activities and local gastronomy.
