Teach English in Shijiazhuang, China. 13,000 to 17,000 RMB per month!

1. About Shijiazhuang: 
We are in one of China’s fastest growing cities. Shijiazhuang is the capital of Hebei Province and has excellent links to neighbouring cities. Beijing is just an hour away by train. It has everything you’d expect from a modern city, with malls, cafes, parks, gyms, bars, and many local attractions. It has all the benefits of cities like Beijing and Shanghai, but with a much lower cost of living.

2. About the school: 
All the classrooms have whiteboards and interactive screens. We provide student books, teacher books, workbooks, flashcards, arts and crafts materials, and a host of supplementary materials like games and educational toys. 
We teach everyone from kindergarten age to adults, but we are mainly focused on young learner classes. The school is very central, with plenty of shops and restaurants close by, and the train station is just a 10-minute taxi journey away.

3. What we offer: 
-Free accommodation (2-bedroom apartment) very close to the school. 
-A salary starting at 13,000 RMB per month for new teachers. 
-Less than 20 hours teaching per week (5 day working week). 
-All public holidays paid and an additional 2 weeks paid vacation.

4. Who we are looking for: 
We want teachers with lots of energy and passion for teaching. China is a great place to be but it does take some adjustment, and so applicants must be flexible and willing to embrace a different culture. Teaching experience is beneficial but not essential as we provide training and support. Language Link runs regular CELTA courses in Beijing and Shanghai, and we give priority placement to our teachers, as well as a significant discount.

5. Work visa requirements: 
-You must be from the UK, USA, Ireland, Canada, Australia, or New Zealand. 
-You must be between the ages of 20 and 55. 
-You need a Bachelor’s Degree in any subject. 
-You need a Teaching Certificate (if you don’t have one you can still apply and we can advise you on where to get the certificate).
