English Teachers for Ben Tre province, Vietnam

Hello teachers,

ETU Language Centre is looking for native teachers who would like to teach in Ben Tre province, Vietnam. We need three teachers to locate there on one month assignments, with the option for longer durations.

This opportunity can be flexible in contract duration, so it could be suitable for teachers who want to limit their commitments, or to those looking to gain experience and a decent paycheque in a low cost of living area. We will be renting a house in the town for teachers, so a group of people who already know each other would be ideal. We also understand that we hiring 3 individuals may be necessary, so we are looking for mature, responsible people.

Pay: 30, 000, 000 VND per month

Accommodation: Provided - Private house to be shared between three teachers

Transportation: To and from HCMC to location provided - Assistance securing local motorbike rental

Contract: One month contracts available with optional renewal. We have 3 positions available. Option to transfer to our city based public school positions after 2 to 3 months.

Hours: 5 days a week, 8 am to 4: 30 pm. 2 hour lunch.

ETU Language Centre is arranging these contracts and will provide support from head office when needed.

This is an outreach program to give some foreign teacher time to children in rural areas. As such, you should be prepared to teach large groups in fan only classrooms at times. We can help with lesson plan and game ideas. The successful candidates will be adventurous people doing a good service for small town Vietnam.

This could be a good opportunity for many people to get a month or two of teaching in at a decent salary. Please apply if you are a creative person, love teaching, and want to have a new adventure. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree, teaching certificate (CELTA, TEFL etc), are an asset. However, we can consider enthusiastic people with fewer qualifications.
