International Internship and Work Placement Program - Volunteer in Vietnam, Work in Japan or Vietnam

Trellis Summary:

Trellis aims to promote growth, development, and innovation by providing cost-free English and Japanese language education to disadvantaged children and young adults in Vietnam in conjunction with volunteer programs designed to train and disseminate the next generation of capable and qualified foreign language educators to for-profit and non-profit educational organizations across the globe. Join us in the beautiful coastal city of Danang, Vietnam to educate and elevate yourself and your students.

Program Details:

Our program provides intrepid individuals the opportunity to travel, positively impact the global community, develop their skills as foreign language educators, gain valuable international experience, and ultimately secure a job teaching English in either Japan or Vietnam.

Trellis’ 12-week Volunteer and Work Experience Program takes place in the beautiful coastal city of Danang, Vietnam. It consists of three stages:

Training – The first two weeks of our program will introduce you to the basics of teaching English as a foreign language. We’ll also throw in a few fun activities and events!

Teaching – Develop your skills as an English teacher in a safe and structured classroom environment while you provide foreign language education to Vietnamese youth during Trellis’ 10-week Work Experience Module.

Job Placement Assistance – Rushing into a teaching contract overseas has its fair share of risks. Trellis aims to minimize those risks by connecting our volunteers with reputable educational organizations. When your time teaching with Trellis comes to an end we’ll help you find a job teaching English in Japan or Vietnam by working with our network of trusted partners.

During your time with Trellis in Vietnam, Trellis will organize your living accommodations for you. Trellis will cover the transportation costs for all activities relating to teaching and volunteering. If, upon completion of our volunteer program, you secure a teaching position in Japan through one of Trellis' partner institutions, Trellis will provide you with a stipend to help cover the costs of transportation from Vietnam to Japan.

Program Fees:

The total cost of Trellis' Internship and Work Placement Program is $1,800 USD (skill-sharing scholarships are available for outstanding applicants). These program fees cover:

Support before, during, and after your arrival in Vietnam 
Accommodation in our volunteer housing 
Training and orientation 
Airport pickup 
Pre-departure information package 
Certificate of completion (upon request) 
Job placement assistance
