Teach English in China: Looking to Fill Immediate Positions in Tianjin

Aclipse has recently partnered with a client in China to help fill immediate teaching positions located in the city of Tianjin. Currently we are looking for international teachers who are capable of teaching children ages 3-18 in an engaging, safe, and effective manner. Teachers will teach different components of the English language and are free to use a variety of resources to do so.

Outside of teaching hours, teachers have will also have admin hours. These hours can include lesson planning, marking papers, filling out attendance and class logs, communicating with Progress Advisers, Director of Studies, and parents; etc.

There is a large focus on professional development, so teachers will have opportunities to lead training sessions, complete projects for their centers, and become certified in different teaching fields with Cambridge University. Staff are also required to attend meetings, and training sessions provided throughout the year.

Teachers should be good team players who are capable of working in a multicultural center, and with individuals from different backgrounds.

Job Description

• Contract Duration: 15 months 
• Working hours: 40 hours per week (including course admin) 
• Teaching hours: Off Peak - 20 hours per week, Peak- 26 hours per week 
• Probation period - 3 months

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree 
• TEFL/TESOL/CELTA certification 
• Passport holder from: U.K, U.S.A, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland or South Africa 
• 21-45 Years of age 
• Pass a criminal background check and a medical exam
