The Job

Our school is now holding interviews for the position of online English language teachers to teach students of all ages at our school in Beijing. Beijing The City
Beijing, capital of the Peoples Republic of China, is the nations political, economic, cultural, educational and international trade and communication center. Located in northern China, close to the port city of Tianjin and partially surrounded by Hebei province, Beijing continues to be an exciting place for all things music, fashion and art with plenty of events and shows to attend. 

There is a thriving expat community in Beijing, with the Sanlitun area being a popular destination for both expats and trendy locals to mix and mingle over drinks. One of the most important landmarks in the city is Tiananmen Square. This is the worlds largest public square and a must see for all visitors from abroad and from other places in China. 

Main Responsibilities
o Maximum of 40 hours working per week (usually less) 
o Teaching hours per week: 20 hours in average (depending on booking rate) 
o Provide oral English course to students of all ages (4 to 18 year olds mainly) 
o Lesson planning for online teaching 
o To promote and preserve a happy atmosphere in the online classes
o Cooperate with the DOS in ensuring the constructive communication and efficient operation of the centre
o Assist in the placement testing and interviewing of new students 
o Carry out teaching related responsibilities including, but not limited to demonstration classes, conversation clubs, tutorials, seminars and presentations
o Attend centre social events 

Compensation
o Base salary: 10,000 to 17,000 RMB per month (depending on qualifications and experience) 
o Monthly housing allowance: 4,000 RMB 
o Flight allowance: 7,000 RMB paid on contract completion (annually) 
o End of year bonus based on performance

Requirements
o Native English speaker from UK, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand or Ireland
o BA degree or above

o Plenty of passion and energy
o 2 years of teaching experience preferred
o Clean criminal record
