APAX English by April launched in Vietnam in May 2015. Our program brings a new style curriculum and standard that is raising the bar of English education in Vietnam.

Program Information: 
The curriculum and program originated in South Korea in 2007 as April English. In 2012, it launched its revised April 2.0 program. It targets primary and secondary school learners to develop communicative competence based on intrinsic motivation and immersion. Leveraging education-based technology tools such as automated speech recognition, smart boards and e-learning systems, students can improve their expressive skills and logical thinking abilities via experiential learning.

There are over 90 campuses in South Korea. APAX English by April curriculum can also be found in China and the Philippines and is continuously expanding. The success stems from the highly designed program, cognitive objectives and teaching methodologies, effective online training system for teachers that was evaluated and approved by the Korean Association for Teachers of English, and our passionate and caring teachers.

Right now: 
APAX English is actively recruiting across big cities and smaller provinces of Vietnam. Approaching 60 centres by the end of 2017, it’s the ideal time to join and enjoy APAX’s booming success.

-Salary: entry-level monthly range between 32,000,000 VND and 41,000,000 VND (~$1,400-$2,000)

-Housing: provided, or Hanoi/HCMC allowance of 6,450,000VND (~$300.00) monthly

-Bonuses: twelve-month completion bonus of 10,750,000 VND (~$475), pioneering bonus potential for smaller cities ranging from 8,000,000 VND to more than 55,000,000 VND (~$800-$2400)

-Medical insurance: 50/50 split in payment for basic health policy (~$ 3-4 / month)

-Vacation: ~20 (bank holidays) days a year + 6 flexible days

-Two days off per week

-Hours: Tuesday-Sunday 5:30pm-8:45pm, additional morning OR afternoon shift on Sat/Sun

-Class size: small classes with an average size between 10 and 15 students; maximum 16 students

-Support: training is provided and there is ongoing teacher support

-Advancement: opportunities to advance, including non-teaching and managerial roles

You must meet the following requirements to qualify for a work permit for APAX English:

-Native English speaker 
-Minimum of a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university 
-ESL certification (TEFL/TESOL, CELTA etc) 
-Provide a national background check with no charges from your country of citizenship
