Qualifications

Step up your teaching career with international experience. Grab the opportunity to work in South Korea with the assistance of Teach Abroad Korea. We seek motivated, outgoing native English speakers looking to develop their skills further. You will be placed at any school across Korea, teaching a subject based on your area of expertise or on current needs.

*Be an American or British, Irish, Canadian, Australian, NZ citizen, South African who speaks English as their first language 
* Bachelor degree from an accredited college or university in any subject 
Clean criminal history 
*Be mentally and physically healthy

Must prepare the documents as below: 
A criminal record check with an apostille (UK,Ireland, AU, NZ, USA,SA) - valid for 6 months 
A copy of diploma with an apostille (UK, Ireland, AU,NZ, USA,SA)

A notarized criminal record check from the Korean consulate - Canada 
A notarized copy of degree from the Korean Consulate - Canada 
Salary and Benefits

Pay and Compensation 
Though these can change from school to school, the average contract will include these items 
•One year teaching contract 
•$1,800-$2,200 per month salary (the exchange rate will cause this to vary slightly) 
•Paid housing- typically a one bedroom furnished apartment within the vicinity of the school or a housing allowance 
•Health benefits- typically 50% coverage (the Korean Government subsidizes health costs so any health expense will be very minor. For instance a typical doctor’s visit will cost less than $25) 
•Vacation days- all major Korean holidays and 7-14 vacation days 
•Paid flight to and from Korea 
•Option to renew contract with higher pay
