SKIP is a non-profit organisation helping economically-disadvantaged children in the impoverished districts of El Porvenir and Alto Trujillo on the north coast of Peru realise their right to an education. We promote quality education and empower children and families to be the principal agents of sustainable change in their own lives. Since 2003, we have been working in partnership with families through holistic programmes focusing on the educational, economic, emotional and social development of each child, parent or carer.

Our volunteers come from the community of El Porvenir, the larger Trujillo area, and overseas!
