Qualified, Experienced, Native English Speaking Teachers Needed in Zhuhai, China

BNU-HKBU United International College now invites applications for appointment as IELTS lecturers and Senior lecturer/lecturers of the International Foundation Programmes (IFP) in Feb 2018:

The Academy of Continuing Education (ACE) of UIC welcomes candidates who will be teaching at least two modules of IELTS listening, Reading, Speaking and Writing.

The candidates who applied for Senior lecturers/lecturers of the IFP will be teaching in one of the areas of business management, basic mathematic, basic statistics and Economics.

The maximum teaching load of these positions is 18 hours per week for each position. The appointees are also required to provide 10 face-to-face learning consultation hours with students per week on campus. The appointees may involve in some administrative duties relating to the various aspects of programme management, and course promotion and marketing. The main scope of teaching duties includes preparation of course materials, course delivery, teaching evaluation, day-to-day programme administration, and liaison with students, teachers, professional bodies and mainland partners. The appointees will be based in Zhuhai and may travel occasionally to mainland China during the student recruitment period, as well as being a supervisor of an overseas study programme.

Candidates should be native speakers of English with a master degree. Preference will be given to candidates who have Professional qualification or teaching & working experience in a related discipline.

A competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered together with health insurance. Appointments are made initially on a 2-year basis with possibility of renewal.
