ESL Teachers Needed in Jakarta, Indonesia

CELS Indonesia is a well-established group on the Jakarta corporate ESL teaching scene. We are looking for two enthusiastic ESL native speaking teachers to join our dynamic team here in sunny Jakarta in January 2018.

As a provider of corporate training we offer a wide range of courses centered around Business English to clients across the Indonesian capital. We also have contracts with some local schools, where our teachers enjoy being part of our unique Intra-schools program for younger learners. However, the vast majority of our contracts deal solely with adult learners.

As a team we offer constant development and guidance for new and experienced teachers. As a result, we enjoy working with teachers both with extensive experience and little to no experience. We are Cambridge English BULATS certified examiners and encourage our teachers to become BULATS trained educators and examiners. We continuously work to develop fresh materials to keep ahead of the curve and also develop online learning resources for our students. With us, there is plenty of room to develop and add knowledge and new skills to your CV as a course developer and examiner as well as an educator.

Based in the fashionable Kuningan district, our office suite is situated in The Epicentrum Mall and provides our trainers with computer terminals and other essential tools for lesson preparation. Our salary is such that plenty of housing in the business center of the capital is affordable, with only a short walk to the office being available. We have a friendly, English speaking support staff and drivers who will take us to and from all classes. Jakarta is also a fantastic base from which to travel to the most idyllic holiday destinations in Asia.

REQUIREMENTS:

- TEFL, TESOL, CELTA or equivalent ESL teaching qualification 
- Bachelor’s Degree (any subject) 
- UK, Irish, Canadian, New Zealand, Australian or US passport 
- Age 25 – 55 years old 
- A positive attitude 
- Teaching experience is not essential as we offer extensive development to all of our teachers
