Exciting Job Opportunities at Jeongbal POLY | Seeking 4 Experienced Kindergarten Teachers | Starting LATE FEB

Teaching Position (E-2 or F-4 visa only) 
Starting Date: March 2nd, 2018 (Training starts on Feb. 26th) 
Location: Goyang, Gyeonggido, South Korea 
Job Term: Full-Time (4 positions available) 
Salary: 2.5-2.6 million won (depending on experience) 
Severance: One month severance paid at the end of the contract 
Housing: Single furnished (20 minute walk from work) 
Airfare: Provided 
Medical Insurance: 50% of National Insurance premium paid for by POLY 
Class Length: 40-50 minutes (9 classes a day maximum) 
Number of students per class: MAX 12 
Vacation: POLY Vacation Days 
Hours: 9:00 - 18:00 (Monday - Friday) 
Prep time: 9:00-9:45 & 14:10-14:50 
Student Age: 7-12

About Our School: Jeongbal POLY is one of Korea's top academies for advanced English. We are one of more than forty campuses operated by Korea POLY School.

About Our Teachers: We currently employ 11 foreign teachers at Jeongbal POLY. Nine of our current teachers have been so satisfied with their first year, that they have resigned for multiple years! The director, and two academic coordinators (supervisors) are North Americans with extensive experience as teachers and administrators in Korea. Our work environment is open, comfortable, and teachers are supported with direct guidance from approachable administrators.

Qualifications 
- Be a native English speaker 
- Hold a valid passport American or Canadian passport 
- Hold a minimum bachelor degree from an accredited American or Canadian university 
- Have a clean criminal record from your country 
- Enthusiasm for teaching with an outgoing personality 
- Willingness to cooperate and be part of a growing team

The ideal applicant: 
The ideal applicant holds a degree in Education, English or Linguistics. It is best if he/she has some teaching experience, or at least experience working with young children. He/she should be comfortable managing a classroom with kindness, fairness, and firmness. He/she should be eager to educate with creative instruction methods. He/she should approach this position with a professional attitude, and not as a vacation, despite being far from home. Additional required qualities are self-motivation, flexibility, punctuality, and most importantly, compassion for the students.
