Fifth Wings is now recruiting an Assistant Language Teacher (ALT), 
preferably with previous experience as an ALT to teach Preschool & Kindergarten students, Elementary School Students and teach a few Adult classes.

Location will be in the GUNMA area for the school year January 1st 2018 - March 31st, 2018 and also for the new school year starting April 1st, 2018 for 1 year, with a chance to renew for an additional year at the end of the contract.

Applicants should be in Japan already or able to come to Japan 
ASAP. Female applicants encouraged to apply due to teaching the little 
kids.

POSITION: Preschool, Kindergarten, Elementary & Adult Classes.

Canada, The UK, Australia, New Zealand, USA or from a country of which 
the first language is English or that lists English amonst its official 
languages and must have a command of English equivalent to that of a 
native speaker.

CONTRACT PERIOD: Start January 1st 2018 - March 31st, 2018. April 1st, 2018 for 1 year. 
January 1st, 2018 - March 31st, will be a 6 day work week. 
April 1st, 2018 - 5 Day work week.

SALARY: ¥250,000 / month (M-S) - January 1st, 2018 - March 31st, 2018. (6 Day Work Week) 
¥250,000 / month (5 DAY work week) - April 1st, 2018 - March 31st, 2019.

Salary to be paid on the 15th of each month. 
RESIDENCE: Accommodation will be found for the applicant. No key 
money, modern tidy apartment. Teacher pays monthly rent of ¥52000 - 
¥55,000 plus utilities, gas and power.

FURNITURE: washing machine, refrigerator, microwave, and futon provided.

WORKING HOURS: The Schedule will vary during the week so please 
be flexible and openminded. Classes range between 45 minutes – 50 
minutes (including 10 minutes break).

TYPE OF WORK: Teach English to preschool, kindergarten kids, elementary kids and adults. 
Experience with children is essential. Ability to relate to and have fun 
with children. Participate in and assist with extra-curricular 
activities. Assist with other duties specified by the supervisor or the 
school principal at your workplace. You will enrich the lives of 
children by sharing your knowledge of English and communication skills 
and giving insights into other cultures. Your job would be two-fold: 
language instructor and cultural ambassador. These two aspects are 
inseparable, and you, as a successful ALT - English Teacher, will become 
an expert in both. You can expect to teach classes on your own, with a 
Japanese teacher present to help manage the classroom.

REQUIRED BA/BS: TESL/TEFL/CELTA or teaching certification. 
Applicants must be of sound mental and physical health. Applicants must 
not have a criminal record.

VISA: Applicant required to reside in Japan or able to come to 
Japan by the week of August 25th. Full sponsorship available to 
applicant.

HOLIDAYS: All Japanese Calendar holidays are paid.
