The Job

Our school is now looking for dynamic, creative and passionate English teachers to join our close-knit teaching team. Teach young learners aged 3 to 12 years old in the vibrant of Nanjing, China. The first Our school was established in Taiwan in 1987 and currently has 760 centers throughout the country. Our school opened its first school in China in 2009 and is growing strongly. As a new school was just built this year, we are looking for new teachers to be a part of our development as we plan to expand in the near future. We offer a learner centered teaching method supplemented by six methodologies to help young learners develop an interest in English learning. In accordance to the learners learning abilities, we have designed different stages of teaching programs to further enhance their English speaking skills as well as their personal development. With 27 years of experience in the education industry, we have developed in house curriculum from our headquarters in Taiwan.

Foreign teachers have access to well researched textbooks, workbooks, teaching guides, poster, CDs, flashcards, scan talks and multi media resources. We also created theme based classrooms to make learning both fun and informative to the students. We strongly encourage foreign teachers to be creative in their teaching approach and to interact with the students in an engaging manner. To further enhance our teachers skills, we offer professional and intensive training sessions before and during the job. Teachers will have access to a Teacher Assistant in the classroom and class sizes are between 5 to 10 students per class.

Nanjing The City

Located on the south bank of the Yangtze River, Nanjing, the capital of Jiangsu Province, is one of the most delightful destinations in China. Known as the capital city of six dynasties in ancient Chinese history, it has a brilliant cultural heritage.

Like most major cities in China, Nanjing is developing rapidly. Great changes have taken place in the city. Modern highways and railways connect the city with most major cities throughout the country and it is becoming a sparkling metropolis akin to Shanghai and Beijing with skyscrapers, luxury hotels, fashion shopping malls, supermarkets and highly developed economic zones throughout the city. Transport in the city is very convenient with the new metro service in addition to taxis, public buses, tourist special lines and other means of transport. Dazzling shopping malls and department stores can be found in the commercial areas of the city with stocked plenty of international brand names.

Main Responsibilities
o Maximum of 20 teaching hours per week
o Maximum 12 hours admin time per week
o Plan events and special activities based on Western holidays (Christmas, Halloween, etc.) 
o Attend trainings and meetings 
o Weekend classes with days off during the week
o Attend the schools annual events


Compensation
o Excellent salary: 14,000 to 16,000 RMB per month depending on qualifications and teaching ability 
o 3 day free hotel housing for teachers who just arrived in China and assistance finding accommodation
o 3,000 RMB housing allowance per month after probation
o Airfare allowance up to 500 RMB per month after probation
o Legal Z work visa provided
o Insurance provided after probation
o Options for 1 year or 2 year contract
o 11 days national holidays plus 7 days paid holidays per year
o Staff trips
o Interest free loan of 10,000 RMB provided which will be deducted in four equal amounts from salaries (2,5000RMB per month) o Loyalty bonus of 5,000 RMB for signing the second contract o Career development opportunities o Seasonal bonus o Professional pre job training and extensive on the job training provided 

Requirements
o Bachelors degree

o Native English speaker from UK, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa and Ireland
o 2 years post graduate teaching experience
o Patient, hardworking and passionate in teaching young learners
o Creative and has a good sense of humour
o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
