Gangnam English Academy seeking great Kindergarten Teachers

We are looking for native English teachers for our English Academy and Kindergarten in Apgujeong, at Sinsa Dong 649-1. We are interviewing for positions starting now through September. We are growing fast, and looking for strong teachers to join our team!

Kindergarten Homeroom/Afterschool Teacher 
These teachers are responsible for one kindergarten classroom of 5, 6, or 7 year olds from 9:30-2:30 each day with a lunch break. Planning time is available during one or two 40 minute blocks each day when the students are taking subject classes like gym, science, music, art, and baking. After school, these teachers will have one full class from either 2:30-4:30 or 4:30 to 6:30, and up to half of the other session. Each afternoon includes 1-2 hours of planning time. We are looking for one teacher to start on April 30, and up to three more starting in June.

Music Teacher 
This teacher would teach 30-40 minute music classes to 5, 6, and 7 year old Kinder students. There is no set curriculum yet, teacher needs to be able to create fun musical activities. Teaching songs, dances, basic instruments, and a love for music. There would be VERY little lecturing, the focus will be on participating and making music. A love for children, music, and having fun is required, but a music degree or a beautiful singing voice is not. This teacher would also need to teach in our after school, which would not be music-related. He or she would teach our usual afterschool subjects, like reading and comprehension, vocabulary, grammar, social studies, debate, etc. We are looking for one Music Teacher to start anytime between now and September.

Summer Program Teachers 
We are hiring teachers for our Summer Program, from June 4 - August 24. Hours are 9:15-2:45 each weekday, pay is 550,000 per week. You would be teaching either a group of kindergarten or elementary students. For elementary students, they learn Science, Debate, Grammar, Vocab, Creative Writing, and some fun theme activities for each week. Whether you are available for one week or the full 3 months of the program, we would be glad to consider your application.

Requirements: 
Experience with teaching children, preferably in Korea 
Fluent, native English

Compensation: 
KRW 3.300.000 per month (reduced hours schedules available as well) 
Housing is included, but rent is deducted from salary 
Performance bonuses 
Health insurance and Pension (we pay half) 
One month severance pay at end of contract 
10 days paid time off, in addition to Korean holidays 
Generally, working hours will be 40 hours per week, (9:30-6:30 M-F with lunch break) and teaching hours about 30 hours per week.
