Teaching rockstars required in Mexico - August start

New language centre seeks experienced teachers!

Calling all fabulous, fun, easygoing teaching gurus! Come and work with us in Mexico, we are opening a new language centre in August and need some talent and attitude added to our team!

THE ROLE
-Level testing students and separating them into levels/classes (beginner - TOEFL/Cambridge prep)
-Teaching -Organising progress tests
-Lesson planning (you decide what to teach and how to teach it)
-Writing brief report cards about student progress each semester
-Advise on curriculum, resources and suggest improvements for the business
-Teaching a maximum of 5 hours a day
- lesson planning can be done remotely

OTHER INFORMATION
-Classes will run alongside the school term
-Spanish is not necessary but would be helpful because the owners do not speak English
-Very small centre
-All resources provided and you will be able to suggest and request books etc that you would like to use to teach
-Flexibility and a relaxed attitude is a must - being able to adapt and stay calm is very important, things may be a bit rocky during the first couple of weeks and teachers will need to be helpful and calm under all circumstances
-A lot of flexibility in regards to classes (most students will be aiming to take Cambridge or TOEFL exams at some stage)
-Students will most likely be aged from 9 - adults and will have various abilities 
-Ideally, we would like someone who is confident teaching all levels and that would like to stay in Tehuacan for a year
-The owner/operators are very kind and will do whatever they can to ensure that you have a comfortable life here, they do not have experience in the area of Teaching English so are looking for experienced teachers that they can trust to advise them and help in all relevant areas of the business.

BENEFITS
At this stage, everything is open for negotiation, this is a small family run business and you will receive a lot of support in regards to life in the area.
-Accommodation with a host family or possibly a sharehouse can be arranged.
-Salary of approximately $7000MXP per month (negotiable for right applicants), for a maximum of 25 hours teaching per week + lesson planning and can be paid fortnightly

We would prefer teachers to be experienced and have a certification. Most importantly we are looking for friendly, fun, confident and adaptable teachers.
