About Busan

Busan, a bustling city of approximately 3.7 million residents, is located on the Southeastern tip of the Korean peninsula. The size of Busan is 763.3km2 which is 0.8% of the whole land of the Korean Peninsula. The natural environment of Busan is a perfect example of harmony between mountains, rivers and sea. Its geography includes a coastline with superb beaches and scenic cliffs, mountains which provide excellent hiking and extraordinary views, and hot springs scattered throughout the city. Busan enjoys four distinct seasons and a temperate climate that never gets too hot or too cold.

Teaching Here:
Most of our students are highly motivated young kids, typically 8~15 years old. Working hours are from 2~10 pm (Mon~ Friday) and actual teaching will start from 3 pm.

To assist our teachers in the creating interesting and stimulating lessons we provide a comprehensive range of flashcards and supplementary materials. Teachers are encouraged to access and adapt these resources to provide informative, authentic, imaginative and fun classes.

Compensation

We offer a 12-month contract. Working hours consist of 30 teaching hours (50minutes each) per week. Overtime pay is provided for teaching hours beyond 30 teaching hours. New terms start every 3 months. We offer payment and provision for all legal documents including a letter of invitation and a working visa for the period of agreement. We also provide emergency medical care insurance, national pension and severance payment ( equivalent to one month salary upon completion of a 12 month contract),

Pay rates vary from 2.2 million~2.4million per month depending on qualifications and courses taught. Salaries are paid monthly.

Accommodation and Transportation:
Fully furnished SINGLE apartment (RENT FREE)will be provided by school.

There’re Gwang An beach and Subway station nearby accommodation (10 min distance on foot)

School will provide you with PRE-PAID Round air ticket(upfront) . Upon arrival, we also offer pick-up service to your accommodation. The school is located in the heart of Busan within easy walking distance to public transportation, including the vast subway metro system.

Qualification

- Preferred a Female ESL experienced teacher from Canada, USA

- Clear criminal background

- Preferred applicants who have all of visa documents in hand
