Native English Speaking Teachers Needed in Leon, Guanajuato, Mexico

Job description 
ESL teacher available to start working on August 15. 
We require native-speaker teachers of English for teaching adults, teens and children. Teachers are also expected to teach outside the school in local businesses and they may be called on to teach one-to-one courses. We offer a 12-month, renewable contract.

Teachers work a 27-hour week between the times of 7:30am and 2:00pm in the morning and in the afternoon between 4:00pm and 9:30pm, Monday to Friday and on Saturdays between the times 8:30am to 11:45am.

Rye School of English is a highly academic institution. We are an authorished centre of the University of Cambridge. Therefore, we expect our teachers to be able to teach Exam preparation Courses from A2 to C1. These examinations test the four skills and are based on the Common European Framework of Reference. So, It would be ideal if candidates are familiar with these frames. 
Salary and benefits 
We offer take-home pay of $8,100 Mexican pesos (after taxes). 
We also pay, 2 weeks holiday at Christmas, 1 week at Easter and 1 week either in July or August. 
The school obtains the teacher’s work permit and covers the cost of the same. 
We offer free Spanish Lessons during your stay in the country. 
ACCOMODATION 
The school provides free, furnished accommodation and teachers are responsible for bills such as electricity, gas and water, etc. (the total of bills is approx $300 pesos/month). The accommodation is shared but teachers have their own bedroom.

Rye School of English is a Cambridge English Authorised Centre, and there are opportunities throughout the year for teachers to supplement their income by acting as examinations support staff (invigilators, marshals, etc). Teachers with 3+ years of teaching experience and who renew their contract can also be trained and nominated as Speaking Examiners.

• Experience not required 
• Formal educational background. BA degree (Ideal, not essential)
