Job Summary American Academy Saudi Arabia is looking to immediately hire qualified Native English Speaker ESL English Teachers to teach in Saudi Arabia. ESL instructors will teach Saudi Arabian males in all aspects foundation four skills English – Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing.

Nationality, Education and ESL Experience Requirements

- Only Native English Speakers born and raised in USA, Canada, UK, Ireland, New Zealand, Australia, and South Africa will be considered for hire. Non-Native Speakers from other countries should not apply as we will delete your application.

- You must hold a valid passport from either USA, Canada, UK, Ireland, New Zealand, Australia, and South Africa with not less than 1.5 years of passport validity and your passport must have not less than 4 empty pages (2 X 2 side-by-side pages) in your passport for Saudi visa issuance.

- You must have either a BA or MA degree in any of the following majors (or similar majors)TESOL / Education / English Language Teaching (ELT) / Applied Linguistics / English Literature / English

ESL Teaching Certificate Requirement

If your degree is not a TESOL or ELT major, you must hold an ESL teaching certificate attained through face-to-face study of not less than 120 hours. Any one of the following is acceptable: CELTA, TEFL, TESOL, etc.)

- All teachers must have a proven track record of 3 Years of Full-time ESL teaching experience.

Responsibilities and Duties

- You will be responsible for teaching male Saudi students all aspects foundation four skills English within the curriculum guidelines provided.

- Assess learners with a variety of assessment tools including course unit exams and quizzes, and various Formative and Summative assessments.

- Deliver engaging student-centered task-based lessons to learners.

Salary and Benefits

- BA degree holders - Monthly salary 10,000 Saudi Riyals (SAR) + 1,000 SAR per month of service Contract Completion Bonus = 11,000 SAR per month (must complete contract to collect CCB). Additional optional monthly allowances of 2,000 SAR per month for Accommodation, 500 SAR per month for Transportation, and 1,000 SAR per month Hardship Location (Al-Khafji only) are available. Total Monthly Remuneration Package can be as high as 14,500 SAR per month as per above calculations.

- MA degree holders - Monthly salary 11,000 Saudi Riyals (SAR) + 1,000 SAR per month of service Contract Completion Bonus = 12,000 SAR per month (must complete contract to collect CCB). Additional optional monthly allowances of 2,000 SAR per month for Accommodation, 500 SAR per month for Transportation, and 1,000 SAR per month Hardship Location (Al-Khafji only) are available. Total Monthly Remuneration Package can be as high as 15,500 SAR per month as per above calculations.

- Hardship Posting Locations - Teachers receive an extra 1,000 SAR salary per month above the base Month salary for Al-Khafji location.

- Private furnished accommodations with utilities paid are available from the company or the teacher has the option to collect 2,000 SAR per month cash should they wish to find their own accommodations.

- Daily transportation to and from work is available from the company or the Teacher has the option to collect 500 SAR per month should they wish to secure their own daily transportation.

- Paid visa with hotel and meals during processing

- 2-way tickets (beginning & end of contract only)

- Medical coverage in case of emergency
