NES teachers for public schools in Saigon, Vietnam - Starting from Aug/ Sept

• Power English Center is located in Phu Nhuan District, Saigon – one of the most active and bustling cities in Vietnam. We have classes at our Center and public/private schools as well.
• We are recruiting teachers to teach at public/private schools: We send our foreign teachers to teach K-12 classes at both public and private schools around Saigon. The new school year will start around the middle of August and end in May.

Job Description

• Duration: 1 school year starting from Late August/ Early September till May. Commit at least 6 months.
• Location: in various districts in Ho Chi Minh city, Vietnam. You may need to go to up to 2 schools/ week but it is nearly fixed schedule throughout school year.
• Students: secondary and high school students at public schools(12 – 17 years old)
• Class size: 35 - 45 students/ class
• Working time: Mornings and afternoons, weekdays ONLY. Some schedules may need Saturday mornings.
• Teaching hours: 15 - 20 hours/ week (except public holidays and school days off)
• Rate of payment: $17 - $20/h NET depending on teachers’ qualifications, experience, performance and location of the schools. Paid monthly on the 10th of the following month in cash/ bank transfer.
• Bonus applied for best teacher of the month and completion bonuses.
• Syllabus and books are provided.
• Visa supported. Work Permit provided for year contract.

Requirement

• University degree (BA/BS or higher) 
• CELTA/TESOL/TEFL certificate (Not necessary for candidates who have bachelor degree major in Education)
• At least 1- 2 years of teaching experience to young learners.

• American, Canadian, British, Australian, New Zealander, Irish, South African are preferred.
