LOOKING FOR QUALIFIED NATIVE ENGLISH SPEAKERS TO START MID SEPTEMBER-OCTOBER 2018 (12 MONTH CONTRACT)

ABOUT US:

This year we have launched the Kazakhstan International Linguistic College (KILC), a college that provides full-time education in English for schoolchildren ranging from 9th class to 12th class.

In addition to the college, we also provide general English courses for all ages and levels at our chain of English schools. Our customers are usually highly motivated and range from employees of national companies, to IELTS preparees, to normal schoolchildren. We offer a many courses for students that are planning to study abroad, and summer camp programmes.

PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF THE POSITION: 
We are looking for English teachers for positions based in Astana, Kazakhstan. You will join our team of 30 teachers in one of our four schools and will be responsible for providing English language courses to mainly middle and high school students, based on our own curriculum. You will also have room to implement your own teaching style and use your own supplementary material.

As an English teacher, you will be responsible for all the normal requirements related with day to day work such as but not limited to grading simple homework and tests. In addition, you may be asked to participate in the promotions and presentations. (Nothing scary or degrading, just interacting with the children of Astana on occasion.)

ABOUT YOU: 
Female/Male native English speaker (citizen of the US, UK, CA, AU, and EU). 
Aged from 23-33. 
Passionate, well-organised, and professional.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATION: 
A minimum of 1 year post qualification teaching experience. 
A TESOL/TEFL teaching certificate (CELTA preferred). 
A Bachelor’s Degree (in English or teaching preferred).

TEACHING CONDITIONS: 
At least 2 days off a week. 
Maximum of 10 students per class. 
40 working hours a week . 
Maximum 30 teaching hours / 10 office hours (preparation, test marking, etc.) a week.

PACKAGE DETAILS: 
Monthly after tax salary from $1200 to $1600 USD (depending on experience, and after a trial period). We always pay on time. 
Paid ticket to Astana (airport pick-up). 
Paid single accommodation within walking distance to the school. 
Paid medical insurance. 
Contract is 12 months in length. 
Help with daily life: sim card, wifi, using the bus, the price of apples… etc.
