Full-Time Native English Teachers Wanted in GOYANG CITY (NEAR SEOUL)

TLBU Global School ( http://gs.tlbu.ac.kr ) is looking for passionate and professional full-time ESL teachers interested in teaching middle school students of grade 7, grade 8, and grade 9; and English Language of Arts (ELA) for elementary school students of grade 4, grade 5, and grade 6; starting from the second semester of the academic year, 26th August, 2018.

Under new administration, TLBU Global School has conducted significant changes. Since 2016, Principal Lee has continued to further the development of our school in every aspect: from renovating the building, revising the school's curriculum and schedule, to ensuring teachers are paid on time. We are now ready to continue forward and hire a driven team of native English teachers.

TLBU Global School, an accredited private bilingual boarding school, was established in 2008 and has been educating upper elementary and middle school students with a Korean and American curriculum. The students, instructed to speak English at all times while they stay at school, are taught ELA, science, and social studies with American textbooks in addition to the regular Korean subjects and separate ESL classes.

INFORMATION FOR APPLICANTS

[ Terms and Conditions for Full-time Position Applicants ] 
(Contractual terms for part-time teachers will differ upon mutual agreement between the teacher and the school) 
► Positions Available: 2 (Elementary & Middle School Students) 
► Full-time teaching ESL (Middle Students) 
► Full-time teaching ELA & ESL (Elementary Students)

Applicants will have an opportunity to speak with a current English teacher at TLBU Global School once applied.

Contract Details: 
● Duration of contract: 1 year starting 26th August, 2018 (Contract can be extended after one year) 
● Remuneration: 2.0 million won per month minimum or more depending on teaching experience, maximum 2.4 million won (rule set by the Gyeonggido Office of Education) 
● Teaching hours: 25 teaching hours per week. Each class is 40 minutes. 
● The teachers will be assigned as an assistant Homeroom Teacher for a one grade. 
● Working hours : 8 hours per day 
● The teachers may be required to attend Parent meetings, not included in the teaching hours. 
● Health insurance and pension 
● 4 week's paid vacation per year, plus public holidays 
● Accommodation and meals are free on the school's campus 
● Teachers will be provided with basic teaching materials.

Qualification: 
► Bachelor of Education, English, Science, or Social Studies 
► Native English speaker 
► Teaching experience preferred 
Location of the School: 
Goyang City, northwest of Seoul (45mins from central Seoul by public transportation)

Visa: 
To apply for an E-2 visa, you need to present a criminal background check and an apostille degree that are both less than 6 months old. F-5 visa holders do not need such requirement. We will guide you through this process once hired.
