We are a social enterprise English school in Phnom Penh and we give a large percentage of our profits to NGO projects around Cambodia. Our program is no-fee and includes full support, however our volunteers need to cover their own living expenses during their time with us. We have a Teacher House that you can live in, for a very affordable price. We also have a full and comprehensive professional development program for our teachers. It is a wonderful way to make a difference in the world while developing your skills! We have our own localised curriculum and textbooks that we use, however, there is also room for flexibility and creativity in the classroom for our more experienced teachers. We teach all ages, from 7 years old through to teenagers and adults.

What we offer:

The program is no-fee, however, teachers are required to cover their own living expenses. We have a Teacher House available and we can also help to arrange independent accommodation for teachers that would prefer this option. Cost of living in our house is US$725 for the three months. This includes rent, all bills, WiFi and 3 meals per day (Monday-Friday). There is a cook on site, as well as local staff to help and support our teachers!

We also offer as part of our program: full training and support for teachers including classroom observations and feedback sessions; an 8 day Orientation program with all meals included; and trips out to see some of our rural development projects; a professional development workshop series for teachers; a free Khmer cooking class; free Khmer language lessons each week; and a bicycle to get around the city! Throughout the semester, we also organize a range of social activities such as a trip to a Khmer boxing show and a karaoke night! Airport pickup is provided as well.

Upon completion we are happy to provide you with a Letter of Recommendation and a Certificate of Completion.

Requirements:

• High proficiency in English
• 18+ years of age
• TEFL / TESOL / CELTA (or other teaching qualifications)
• Commitment to the full 12 weeks of our program
• Motivation and enthusiasm
• Police clearance
