The Job

Our school is a long established English Tutoring school aimed at helping students acquire English in a fun and progressive way, and we are currently seeking full time teachers to join us in Suzhou. You will be part of a team of committed teachers with sufficient support from our staff.

Over the last twelve years, we have opened 6 schools in Suzhou, and two satellite schools in Zhejiang province. We provide after school English education classes for children from as young as 4 to as old as 18. Our classes are based on a series of international recognized text books and the procedures we have developed over our years of experience in the field. We believe that learning a new language should be not only immersive but also fun. As Suzhou continues to grow into a world class megalopolis we strive to grow and evolve with our city, becoming the best company we can for students and staff alike.

We are looking for outgoing and passionate English teachers who are ready to move to China and join our team. Applicants should be open to the idea of fun education, and be willing to really engage not only in their classes, but in all of our schools activities as a whole. Suzhou The City

Suzhou is a renowned cultural, historic and tourist city, located just 25 minutes north of Shanghai on the fast train. The city is located in the southeast of Jiangsu Province, bordering Shanghai on the east. Written historical records indicate that Suzhou has a history of over 4000 years and the city is now best known around China for its unique and plentiful gardens and its many streams and canals, which have earned it the nickname Venice of the East.

Suzhou is widely known in China as being one of the most livable cities in China, with a buzzing expat community and friendly locals. You will not enjoy only good food there, but also cosmopolitan atmosphere of nightlife activities including cafes, bars, teahouses, theatres and cinemas.

Main Responsibilities
o Maximum of 30 working hours per week
o Student ages: 4 to 18 years old 
o Audio/video materials are available to assist teaching, with an interactive white board and computer in each classroom
o Cooperate with Chinese staff to ensure the constructive communication and efficient operation of the centre
o Lesson planning, creating course outlines 
o Deliver classes in a fun and creative way 

Compensation
o Highly competitive salary: 16,000 to 18,000 RMB per month with housing allowance included (negotiable depending on qualifications) 
o Airport pick up and 2 weeks hotel stay upon arrival provided
o Flight reimbursement on contract completion: 6,000 RMB 
o Chinese public holidays (paid) plus 2 weeks sick leaves (paid) and 2 weeks optional vacation (unpaid) 
o Paid and sponsored Z work visa 
o Accident insurance provided 
o Chinese teacher assistant will be assisting in every class 
o Ongoing training and around the clock support at work and in daily life 

Requirements
o Native English speaker from UK, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and Ireland 
o BA degree or above required

o 2 years of relevant teaching experience preferred
o Clean criminal record 
o Highly responsible team player with hard working ethics
