NES or European English Teachers

The vacancies are for English teachers to teach at a government high school in the center of Sisaket City, about eight hours from Bangkok, in lower Isaan. 

Transport from Bangkok and temporary hotel accommodation is paid for by GEC.
There is a good variety of accommodation close to the school and assistance is given to find suitable long-term accommodation in the area.

The position is teaching mathayom students, 20-22 periods per week, Monday to Friday, 8.00am to 4.30pm. We have twelve foreign teachers at this school and a full-time English speaking Thai coordinator based at the school to help and advise our teachers.

This contract starts as soon as possible and will finish in March 2019.

Salaries range from 30,000 to 32,000 baht a month depending on the applicant’s nationality, qualifications and experience. All teachers qualify for a 2,000 baht per month attendance/completion bonus that is paid in a lump sum at the end of the contract in March 2019.

All documentation and full assistance will be given to obtain a non-immigrant B visa and a work permit will be provided.

Preferably, applicants should have a bachelor degree and while an English language teaching qualification, such as a TEFL or TESOL certificate, and teaching experience is preferred, equal importance is placed on a good attitude and a positive approach to teaching in Thailand.
