Montessori Preschool Teacher (English speaker)

Hi teachers,

I am seeking to fill two foreign teacher positions for a brand new school that will be opening in in the heart of Phnom Penh in January 2019. The school will follow the Montessori curriculum and cater to children under six years of age. Montessori takes a holistic approach to educating the child. Within the classroom students are encouraged to make creative and independent choices. I'm seeking teachers that are passionate about working with young children, patient, upbeat, and curious about discovering Cambodia. 

The school will have just five classrooms with about fifteen students per class. There will always be atleast one Khmer (English speaking) assistant in the classroom to assist with the children. This is not a float position. You will be with the same classroom and students each day. This is a full time position with no weekends. Each day you will have an hour break to leave the campus. We are conviently located in a mall and close to many shops.

As an expat in Cambodia myself, I understand that moving abroad can be sometimes overwhelming. We want our teachers to be happy and comfortable in their new home. We are offering a competitive salary, payment of the work permit, payment of the visa, and a supportive work environment. We are also happy to assist in helping you find an apartment.

The school will close during each Cambodian holiday. Each employee will also receive five weeks of holiday: two weeks at Christmas and three, one week long holidays for each of Cambodia's major holidays.
