Primary Teachers

The English Program at Assumption College Primary Section (Bangkok) is seeking qualified primary school teachers from native English speaking countries to join our friendly, supportive and professional team. The positions still available are:

- Grade 1-3 Homeroom (4 positions)
- Grade 4-6 English (2 positions)
- Grade 4 Science
- Grade 3-6 Computers (2 positions)

Applicants should have an ability to inspire young children and be a positive team player. All applicants must have a degree in education or a post graduate teaching certificate (PGCE or equivalent).

The positions are available to start from Saturday 23rd March 2019, which is our Orientation Day for new teachers. 

Grade 1, 2 and 3 teachers will teach English, Mathematics, Science and Health to their own homeroom class. They will also be responsible for looking after the welfare of the students in their class.

Grade 4-6 teachers specialize in teaching either English, Mathematics or Science across 2-4 classes in the same grade. They are also responsible for looking after the welfare of the students in their own homeroom class.

The initial contract will be until the end of March 2020 and, subject to performance, the contract will be extended for an additional twelve months from that time.

The successful applicants will receive a monthly salary of 83,000 Baht, end of year bonus, health insurance and approximately eleven weeks paid holiday (in a full school year). Class sizes are 20 students in Grade 1 and 25 students in Grades 2-6.
