Academic Director wanted in Beijing

High challenge management job opportunity, we are looking for a experienced international school academic director in Beijing. 

Job Responsibilities Summary:

The Academic Director of American Programs (ADAP) is a member of the international education division of the school business unit at the education group team and reports directly to the Director of American Programs. The working location of this position will be Beijing. The applicant must understand fully and support enthusiastically and articulately the stated mission and purpose of the American Programs, both in speaking and writing.

The ADAP is the academic leader of the American Programs and in charge of the overall academic management and operation of the program.

Description:

Location: Haidian district, Beijing city, China.

Contract Term: two academic years, as soon as work visa issued in 2019.

Students Age: 15-18 years old (Grade 9-12).

Work Days: Mondays to Fridays. Two days off on weekends.

Work Hours: 40 hours per week.

Remuneration and Benefits:

Annual Salary: RMB400,000—RMB600,000 including monthly salary and annual performance bonus.

Accommodation: the school supports with certain amount of housing allowance monthly for renting a well-facilitated two bedroom apartment within five kilograms distance away from the school or school may provide well-facilitated apartments for utilizing.

Meals: meal allowance provided.

Holidays: full paid 11 days Chinese public holidays per year.

Airfare Allowance: up to RMB10,000 reimbursement of round-trip flights upon the contract fulfillment.

Insurance: medical insurance, life insurance and accident insurance provided.

Visa Fee: in total RMB2,000 reimbursement.

Annual Physical Examination: provided.

Work Visa: offer working permit to apply for a work visa.

Staff children tuition - discount enrollment.

Requirements:

Master degree or higher, major in Education.

At least 3 years secondary school teaching experience and 3 years high school academic management experience, worked in

American and in China.

Language Skills: Highly proficient in written and verbal communication, ESL training and/or interest in teaching and working with non-native English speaking students and school faculty.

Reasoning Ability: Highly proficient in Academic managing areas of: reasoning, problem solving, organizational dynamics and emotional intelligence.
