Julia Gabriel Centre is a leading regional early childhood education and speech and drama centre, originally founded in 1983 in Singapore, and has since expanded to over 12 locations across Asia. In addition to Singapore, Julia Gabriel is present in China, Malaysia, and Indonesia. Julia Gabriel Centre will be launching for the first time in Bangkok in May 2019, located in the Sukhumvit (Phrom Phong) area.

Julia Gabriel is well-known for our unique EduDrama® teaching methodology which helps children build strong self-expression, language, and communication skills, confidence, creativity, compassion, courage, and cognitive skills. Our EduDrama® approach combines drama with planned educational goals. EduDrama® promotes the use of imagination and creativity, and enjoyment of rhythm, sound and language. EduDrama® is inspired by educators who are passionate about children, language, and the arts. 

Our Bangkok centre will offer programmes for children aged 6 months to 6 years, including English and Mandarin early learning programs and Speech & Drama Programmes.

We are currently hiring for Early Learning Teachers and Assistant Teachers:

1. Early Years Teacher
Role and responsibilities:
• To teach early learning and speech & drama classes in accordance with Julia Gabriel’s programs. Early learning program format will include both adult-accompanied and independent classes.
• To assist in planning the term structures and syllabus. 
• To keep up-to-date records of all classes and material. 
• To attend staff meetings, parents appointments and meetings as and when necessary. 
• To work and teach as a member of a team. 
• To liaise with parents where necessary. 
• To help develop new programmes where required. 

Requirements
• Min Bachelor degree or Diploma or other qualification in Early Childhood Care & Education – Teaching 
• At least 2 years’ recent experience in early years teaching
• Excellent spoken & written English
• Energetic, passionate, good team player
• Enjoys working with children
• Ability to play a musical instrument and sing will be an advantage
• Foreign or Thai national 
• Able to commence role in April 2019

2. Assistant Early Years Teacher
Role and responsibilities:
• To assist the early learning and speech & drama class teachers in class preparation, teaching, and follow-up. Early learning program format will include both adult-accompanied and independent classes.
• To generally assist in all classes at the Centre.
• To assist in course preparation as assigned.
• To attend staff meetings.
• To supervise informal activities as directed.
Requirements
• Bachelors degree or relevant experience
• Recent graduate will be considered
• Early Childhood qualification will be an advantage
• Ability to play a musical instrument and sing will be an advantage
• Enjoys working with children
• Excellent spoken & written English
• Energetic, passionate, good team player
• Thai national
• Able to commence role in April 2019
