Kindergarten, Elementary, and Secondary Teachers

Saint John Mary International School (SJMIS) is a small international school in Saraburi Province, situated on a well-equipped and spacious campus 100 kilometers north of Bangkok. We are a private, co-educational institution offering an American curriculum to both day and boarding students. 

We serve students from Pre-K through grade 12 with a curriculum based on the California State Standards, and monitor student achievement with twice-yearly MAP testing. We are fully WASC accredited, and work throughout the academic divisions to produce students who embody the School-Wide Learning Results set forth by our board. 

Successful candidates will have training and experience with differentiated learning, backward design, and student-centered learning, and the ability to foster critical thinking skills and a growth mindset in students. Most importantly, they will maintain high academic expectations for students, and insist on academic integrity in practice and product. 

We are looking for the following qualified candidates to begin in August 2019:
kindergarten teachers, elementary homeroom and P.E. teachers, and secondary subject teachers in math and science.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
• Native English speaker or near-native speaker with TOEIC score of 800 or higher, neutral accent and demonstrable command of the conventions of spoken and written English
• Bachelor’s degree in education with specialization in the subject and at the level for which you are applying 
OR 
• current teaching licensure in your home country in the level and subject for which you are applying

For for Elementary and Secondary positions, a minimum 2 years experience teaching a US curriculum to English Language Learners is required 

Salary according to SJMIS pay scale, depending on qualifications and experience.

Work permit costs and Non-B visa extensions are covered by our HR department.
