Apollo Education and Training Vietnam in Hai Phong is looking to recruit a senior teacher to start in May 2014 for our expanding operations in Vietnam.

Package

• Competitive salary depending on qualifications/experience

• 15 days paid leave per year

• Medical insurance allowance: up to USD 500 per contracted year

• Performance bonus: USD 1,200 paid at the completion of a 1-year contract

• Relocation allowance: USD 300 per contract

• Business visa & work permit arranged, covered by Apollo for the duration of the contract

Responsibilities

- Supporting the Academic Manager to ensure teachers deliver an effective EFL program for the centre

- Support of teachers in the teachers’ room

- Average of 15 contact hours teaching per week

- Induction of and support for new teachers

- Liaising with customers dealing to help deal with academic issues as they arise

- Supporting marketing activities and cover teaching/stand-by

- Other duties as allocated

Essential requirements

- At least 2 years’ full time teaching experience

- CELTA/Trinity, TESOL, or equivalent with observed teaching sessions

- BA (or MA) degree (required for work permit)

- YL specific qualifications (IHCYL or equivalent) desirable

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, time management and organizational skills

- Adaptability, flexibility and cultural awareness

- Clean police record (4 months validity) & satisfactory references

- Desirable requirements: observation and mentoring experience
