Specialist English Teaching Positions in Malaysia

Enhance Academy Malaysia is seeking dedicated and energetic English language teachers to join our expanding academic teams in Klang and Kuala Lumpur. Founded in 2017, the company specializes in offering high-quality English language courses to learners of all ages and levels. As such, we value the importance of hiring qualified and experienced teachers to work in well-equipped classrooms and have at their disposal a large bank of teaching resources. Most of our students are part-time and study with us for two hours per week. This means that our work week runs from Wednesday to Sunday and teachers teach a maximum of 24 contact hours during their 40-hour workweek.

We currently have two key positions to fill, the details of which are outlined below:

Position 1: Teach English language to pre-school, primary, and secondary aged students as well as adult courses as needed. The role will also involve teaching a range of writing courses to primary and secondary aged students. 
Location: Klang, Selangor 
Qualifications & Experience: An accredited degree and at least a 120-hour TEFL certification (CELTA, Trinity Cert TESOL preferred). At least two years of full-time teaching experience. 
Desired Qualifications & Experience: The ideal candidate will possess or at least have started a tertiary-level TESOL qualification such as the Cambridge DELTA, Trinity Dip TESOL, or MA TESOL / Applied Linguistics. Experience teaching specialist writing courses for children is also highly valued.

Position 2: Teach English language to pre-school, primary, and secondary aged students as well as adult courses as needed. The role will also involve teaching a range of writing courses to primary and secondary aged students. 
Location: Desa Park City, Kuala Lumpur 
Qualifications & Experience: An accredited degree and at least a 120-hour TEFL certification (CELTA, Trinity Cert TESOL preferred). At least two years of full-time teaching experience. 
Desired Qualifications & Experience: The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching phonics and English language to young and very young learners, aged four and above. Experience teaching specialist writing courses for children is also highly valued.

We value professional development and we encourage and support teachers to improve their skills. We need teachers who can relate well to students, especially those with a strong preference for teaching children, and who have an active and lively teaching style. We use a range of well-known coursebooks but teachers can draw on our data-bank for supplementary materials and have considerable freedom in planning lessons.

We seek a two-year commitment and, in turn, we offer a competitive salary and benefits package of approximately $2,000 USD per month (dependent on experience) including pension contribution (claimable as salary or on departure from Malaysia), comprehensive health insurance, flight contributions and up-to 10 weeks paid leave (pro-rated) per year.
