ILA in Can Tho is searching for dynamic teachers to fill several openings for an immediate start! We offer additional supplements to teach in Can Tho!

Can Tho is located in the south of Vietnam in the Mekong Delta, Can Tho is 170km southwest of Ho Chi Minh City. The bus trip from Ho Chi Minh City to Can Tho takes between 3 to 4 hours and costs under $7. Can Tho is in the top 5 largest cities in Vietnam, yet because of it’s relatively low population (1.5 million), it maintains a rural and more laid back feel. Can Tho is famous for its floating markets, with the biggest being Cai Rang (24 minutes from Can Tho). From the market area in Can Tho it takes about 45 minutes by boat where you pass vibrantly painted boats anchored along the shore, merchant vessels carrying loads down the river and houses built on stilts over the water. The cost of living in Can Tho is bit less than Ho Chi Minh City so you will be able save a little. With the increasing popularity of Can Tho as a tourist location, rooftop bars are starting to make an appearance, allowing you to check out the city vista while enjoying a cocktail.

Teachers prepare lesson plans and deliver lessons to students that meet ILA Quality Standards. Teachers keep track of students progress by completing all administrative tasks that can be used to further counsel the students in reaching their desired goal.

Qualifications & Requirements 
A university degree - this must be a bachelor’s degree (minimum 3 year course) or higher (essential for work permit requirements) 
To be a native English speaker or demonstrate native level mastery of English. 
A Qualification in English Language Teaching (CELTA, Trinity TESOL or equivalent): 
The certification must be from a course that:

- is a minimum of a 120 hours (with at least 40 hours completed in class)

- has an observed teaching component of over 4 hours with real students

- has course tutor feedback

- is from a recognized provider that is externally assessed by an accredited organization

-a clean criminal background check 
Excellent communication, interpersonal, time management, and organisational skills
