Teach English in Korea

YBM ECC is taking applications for 2019. If you are interested in teaching in Korea with a reputable English academy, YBM ECC is the place for you. We have locations all over Korea including Seoul, Incheon, Gyeonggi, Busan, and even Jeju Island. 

When you send your resume and photo, mention the location you are interested in working and when you would like to start working. If we have any requests for teachers at those schools, your resume will be sent to them. If we are not able to get you a school at your desired location, other schools will be recommended to you. 

What we can offer for you:
Salary - 2,100,000 won up to 2,500,000 depending on your experience
Housing - A furnished air conditioned apartment located within walking distance of your school
Flight - A one way ticket to Korea from your nearest international airport
Government required benefits - Severance, Pension, Healthcare all provided in compliance with the law
Curriculum - Structured, set curriculum already in place 
Other Foreign Teachers - Schools will have ~3-5 other Native English speaking teachers working with you
Korean Teachers - English speaking staff
Training - Provided at YBM Headquarters for new teachers


Whether you are teaching in Korea for the first time or an experienced teacher already in Korea, you can apply at YBM ECC if you meet this requirements:

-Cover letter & resume (including contact information, educational/employment history, and employment references).
-Scanned copy of federal-level criminal record check, no older than six-months from time of issuance, with affixed apostille 
-Scanned copy of university diploma with affixed apostille
-Recent photo.
-Indication of preferred starting dates and locations (see above listings).
-Be from one of the seven countries able to receive an E2 visa 

If residing / working in Korea: scanned copy of Alien Registration Card (front and back), signed and dated letter of release from employer (if contract is not completed), and copies of the above mentioned documents as previously submitted to the Korea Immigration Services.


The complete set of documents is required for all applicants, regardless of intended full or part-time position, current visa status, and prior length of stay in the Republic of Korea. No interviews will be scheduled for any position unless all the documents listed above are submitted via email.
