OPTION 1) RESIDENTIAL CAMP

Location: Sant’Agata Feltria

Dates 2019: July 6th-20th
Lenght of the Program: 2 weeks (July 6th to the 20th) or 1 week (July 6th to the 13th).

Weekly commitment: This is a full immersion program and you will be talking all day with the young Italian participants in a very laid back and playful environment. We have chosen a nice hotel in Sant’Agata Feltria, with a swimming pool and an amazing landscape.

Your mission is teaching English while having fun.

Spend all day talking English to kids and teens aged 7 to 18 in Italian Summer Camps.
Converse about any topic, share your culture and stories while going for a walk or playing sports or using the hotel facilities.
Playing games and conduct group activities.
Become a mentor for the kids Teach English through games, sports, skits and songs.

What is included in the program:
-Safe camp counselor position prior to departure
-Meals: 3 meals a day included at the hotel
-Accommodation: Italian hotel
-Orientation at the hotel and relax before -camp starts
-Teaching material
-supervision and guidance throughout your stay
-Transportation : Return trip from meeting point (Rimini) to the hotel.
Not included : flights, any personal expenses, anything not expressed above

OPTION 2) HOMESTAY CAMP

Location: Porto Sant’Elpidio, Riva Ligure and Fara Gera D’Adda

Dates 2019: June 9th – July 13th
Lenght of the Program: 5 weeks (June 9th – July 13th) or 2 weeks (June 29th – July 13th)

Weekly Commitment
Every camp session lasts 1 or 2 weeks, from 9am to 1pm (Monday to Friday), mostly in school buildings and their open spaces. You will have plenty of free time to explore the surrounding areas, become a part of the community and travel with the other counselors.

The home-stay version gives participants the possibility of exploring different Italian towns and settings while living the real Italian life through the hospitality of local host families.

What is included in the program:
-Meals included with host families
-Accommodation: With Italian host families (private room or shared with another tutor). When host families are not available tutors will be accommodated in shared apartment and provided with pocket money for grocery shopping.
-Orientation after the arrival (only for the 5 week program)
-supervision and guidance throughout your stay
-Transportation:
5 weeks program: trip from Rome International Airport to first camp site (on June 9th). Transportation to host families.
2 weeks program: the trip to the host family is not included.
Not included : flights, any personal expenses, anything not expressed above

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE
We are looking for counselors who have a great personality, love to laugh and smile and enjoy spending time with kids and teens.

English native speakers aged 20 to 35 years old, with a college degree or at least college students. Alternatively, a TEFL certificate or a previous camp experience are accepted as well.
Good physical health and have lots of enthusiasm and energy to share with the kids.
