Details of Position

We are looking for qualified TEFL teachers for the next academic year starting in September 2019 until June 2020.


The successful candidate will join a team of dynamic, motivated EFL teachers keen on developing within their profession and who take teaching seriously. 


We are a modern, private language center set up in 2009 and we enjoy a reputation of being the leading academy in our town.


We teach general English to children, teens, and adults as well as prepare them for the Trinity College London exams and Cambridge English Language Assessment. We have been a preparation center for both examinations boards for over 10 years.


We offer our teachers a comprehensive Teacher Training Programme and a great opportunity for Professional Development within the TEFL profession.



JOB DESCRIPTION
Our teachers are professional and committed to their job and to their students.
The job entails teaching English to mainly school-going children (3-12), teens and also adults, term evaluation, attending weekly meetings, teacher training, professional development sessions, and preparing students for external exams (Trinity, Cambridge, TOEIC, TOEFL, and IELTS)
Our timetable for classes is in the afternoon/evenings (4pm-9pm) Monday to Thursday.

Qualifications

University Degree (preferably in Languages) can be waived depending on experience
Recognized TEFL qualification or equivalent (minimum 120 hours)
Working knowledge of Spanish, an advantage (but not necessary)
Experience working with children and teens a plus
Experience with Trinity and Cambridge exam preparation will be valued

Salary and Benefits

SOCIAL SECURITY: Full National Health Insurance & social security cover.
CONTRACT: Part-time contract (20 contact hours minimum) Monday to Friday
SALARY: Above the National Working Agreement & national average for Private language schools. 
Gross salary: 800 – 1,100
RELOCATION: Help with accommodation
PAID HOLIDAYS: At Easter and any local holidays during the academic year (After January 2020)
