Currently seeking 2 full-time kindergarten and elementary English teachers

We are currently seeking 2 full-time kindergarten and elementary English teachers for the academic year of 2014-2015. Salary is based on experience & qualifications. (About NTD $60,000+ Per month) The currency between USD to NTD is about USD $1 to NTD $30. Therefore, the salary will be about USD $2,000 per month.

The position will start sometimes in August 11th or August 18th. The hours are from 8:30 – 12:00 and 13:30 – 18:00, Monday to Friday. The foreign teacher will be teaching kindergarteners: ages 4 to 6 years old (class size: 15 to 20 students) and elementary-level: ages 7 to 12 years old (class size: 10 to 18 students).

The employee will be able to earn the end-of-contract bonus (NTD $20,000) and also the renew contract bonus (NTD $10,000).

Housing is partly provided by school and if the employee wants to rent a place by him/herself, the rent is very little (normally less than USD $300).

We provide teachers free lunch at school and also health insurance. We also offer summer vacation for 2 weeks and winter vacation for 2 weeks.

Our kindergarten classes have 2 Chinese teachers to assist the English teacher. The Kindergarten classes has about 20 students. You will be teaching either K-1, K-2 or K-3 for 3 hours. For instance, if you were to teach K-1 class, then those students will be yours for one whole year.

Elementary classes have 1 Chinese co-teacher (depends on students’ age.) Basically, we work as a team so we expect everyone here can work collaboratively.

Qualifications:

1. Native English speakers (USA, Canada, UK, Ireland, New Zealand, Australia & South Africa)

2. English teaching experience preferred (if available)

3. Easy-going personality

4. Hard-working/Cooperative attitude
