AP History Teacher and SAT Reading/Writing Teacher

Scholar Academy is a growing SAT/AP Test Prep Academy focusing on high school students located in Apgujung Dong, Seoul. This is our 11th year of operation and our website is scholarsat.com.

Because we only specialize in test prep for high school students who are looking to go to the United States for university, we only hire potential teachers who have graduated from at least a 4 year university in America. All of our students are fluent in English so the classes revolve around the AP tests and problem solving. The students are either international school students or students studying at boarding schools in the United States already

We are looking for the following 
1) AP US History 
2) AP World History

OR

3) SAT I Reading 
4) SAT I Writing 
5) SAT I Math

The interview process takes 50 minutes and involves the following 
1) Interview Q/A ~10 min 
2) Mock Class ~10 min 
3) Written test ~30min

When inquiring please also state what subjects you would like to apply for. The more subjects you give us the more classes we can give and compensate you for. Ideally we would like someone who can teach 2 or 3 of the above subjects.

We are looking for a minimum 2 year commitment and someone who works well with high school students. Everything else can be trained. Teaching starts June 10th for our summer session so interviews will be conducted mid to late May.
