ESL Teachers Needed in Baghdad, Iraq

CLIC-LEARNING is hiring full-time ENGLISH INSTRUCTORS

Place of Employment: Baghdad, Iraq

Type of Employment: Full-Time/ Permanent

Reports to: CLIC-LEARNING ACADEMIC MANAGER - IRAQ

Starting Date: TBD

Salary Range: Commensurate with experience

In 2017, Canadian Leaders in International LEARNING (CLIC-LEARNING) established an English Language Academy that offers certified English for Academic Purposes (EAP), English for Specific Purposes (ESP) and English as a Second Language (ESL) programs. The curriculum was developed by our Canadian educational partner. Today CLIC-LEARNING delivers these programs to employees of the Government of Iraq, the banking sector, private sector companies, as well as individuals seeking to improve their language. Our clients include Iraq's Central Bank, the Ministry of Oil, Zain Telecomunnications, and others.

We seek teachers who are adventurous and interested to experience life in Iraq. While the images associated with the country may be those of conflict and war, Baghdad and most of the country are stable and secure. We keep a tight security protocol, but we are not afraid to travel across the city. Our Canadian staff have enjoyed their interactions with very motivated students and we are looking forward to growing our number in the coming months.

We will provide those interested with complete details about life in Iraq and the protocols we use to ensure that they remain comfortable. We welcome any inquiries about life and work in Iraq.

Job Overview

The majority of courses are offered to government and private companies interested in providing professional development opportunities to their staff. In addition, lessons are offered to private students and executives. Teaching schedules will vary depending on our client needs.
