English Programme Lecturer

Responsibilities;

• Deliver quality of teaching at foundation, Diploma and Degree levels;

• Carrying out assessment, monitoring and evaluation of student work, and providing an academic and consultative support to students in their learning activities;

• Providing academic input for course development and new courses;

• Engaging in research, consultancy and development work as appropriate;

• Participating in committees appropriate to courses and meetings convened by management;

• Maintaining appropriate records and making available information as required by management;

• Engaging in promotion including student recruitment as appropriate;

• Provide input and guidance on the direction of student learning and curriculum;

• Provide tutor-led and student centered activities to international students;

Requirements;

• Master’s degree plus English Teaching Certification (Cambridge CELTA, TESOL, TEFL), linguistics or a related filed;

• Excellent teaching, communication and team-working skills;

• 3 years teaching experience in English as a Second Language or Foundation Programme in a University or Highly Education Institution;

• Excellent oral and written communication skills;

• Strong interpersonal skills and extensive tutorial experience with non-native speakers.
