In-house Early Childhood Curriculum Writer - Taipei, Taiwan

HESS International Educational Group is seeking a full time, Early Childhood Curriculum Writer to join our growing Educational Research Department. This position is based in Taipei, Taiwan.

Founded in 1983, HESS International Educational Group is a large and growing private language school system, with 250+ schools across Taiwan, China, South Korea, and Singapore. Here at HESS, our in-house publishing team writes, creates, and produces all our own curricula. This is where you come in!

Job Vacancy: Early Childhood Curriculum Writer 
HESS is currently looking for a full-time curriculum writer to expand our Early Childhood English curriculum writing team. As a full-time in-house writer, you will be responsible for planning and writing curricula for early childhood programs. You will assist with the development of supplementary materials associated with early childhood programs, develop and assist with teacher training for young learners, and act as a consultant and proofreader for other curriculums. You may also be required to assist with other departmental-related or Main Office meetings, projects, and activities as needed. This position will be based out of our Main Office in Taipei, Taiwan.

Your Experience 
We are looking for somebody with a passion for early childhood education. The position requires: 
- At least 3 years, on the ground teaching experience in a preschool setting. 
- At least 2 years of writing experience, ideally for the ESL market. 
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree from a native English speaking country. 
Contract, Salary and Benefits 
We are looking for an initial one-year commitment for this position. Salary and benefits are competitive, and will be discussed as part of the application process.
