We are looking for a full-time tutor/ teacher to work with 4 children aged 2-12 in Dubai, improving the children’s educational, intellectual and social development
Responsibilities:
Designing, preparing and delivering high quality lessons for grades within the IB framework to suit the individual needs of the children (they are aged 2, 6, 10 and 12)
Managing academic progress for these students by coordinating with their school and ensuring lessons are in line with the latest developments in the school curriculum
Assessing and monitoring the children’s progress and providing targets for them to aim for
Assuming responsibility for the pastoral care of the children, paying particular attention to academic and personal development
Assisting the children in setting their academic and career goals and tracking their progress towards these goals. Motivating the students as they transition from high school to college through to their chosen career path
Taking responsibility for overseeing the formal and informal education of the children and helping with their social and cultural development
The candidate should be well mannered, well presented and discreet. They should be flexible and ready to accommodate the family’s requirements at short notice. Experience working in private families would be a big plus.
Terms:
Candidate should be experienced as a private tutor/ governor/ governess
Qualifications in education, teaching, languages, PGCE preferred
Charges: 4 children aged 2, 6, 10, 12
Working hours: 2:00pm to 10:00pm
5 or 6 day work week (Saturday may be a working day)
Salary of 20000 AED/ month
Visa and travel costs covered by the family
4 weeks’ paid annual holiday
Additional accommodation supplement negotiable for the right candidate
